Southern Door Trail Trot

The Southern Door Trail Trot is a community sports event organized by Southern Door People Involved in Education (PIE). The event takes place on the 120-acre Southern Door School campus in Brussels, Wisconsin. All proceeds from the race are directed toward supporting the staff and students within the Southern Door School District.

The event features a single distance for participants:

  • 2 Miles

The course traverses a variety of surfaces, including compact gravel, wood chips, and blacktop. Participants travel through the woods and fields located on the school grounds. The route is accessible for strollers, though organizers note that one specific turn may require walking the stroller rather than running.

Each registrant receives a specific event shirt and a collection of additional items. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers across several age divisions. These categories range from participants aged 6 and under up to those aged 70 and older. The event is supported by the Door County Medical Center and the Southern Door Business Association.
