Crossroads Trail Run, Sturgeon Bay
The Crossroads Trail Run takes place at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve in Sturgeon Bay on June 12, 2027. The event offers three marked trail distances and chip timing with staggered starts by distance. An awards ceremony follows the race.
Distances:
- 2K (1.24 Miles)
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
Registration opens January 5, 2027 and closes May 12, 2027. The entry fee is $30 for each distance. To reserve a race t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 19, 2027; registrants after that date may select from previous years' shirts.
Course rules prohibit bikes, shoes with spikes, and dogs on the course during the race; dogs are permitted on the property if kept on a leash. The 5K route includes two water stations and the 10K route includes three water stations. All finishers receive chip-timed results.
Prizes for top finishers are locally sourced and include items such as maple syrup, soap, and pottery. All participants receive a native tree and postrace snacks, including bananas, granola bars, and a cherry sundae. Proceeds support Crossroads at Big Creek and its mission to inspire environmental stewardship through education, research, restoration, and outdoor experiences.
