Pen Park Trails Fest : Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek, WI

Pen Park Trails Fest is a trail running event held on November 7, 2026, at Peninsula State Park, with Welcker's Point Shelter serving as the start and finish area. The event offers two distance options that use the park's gravel paths, single-track, and multi-use trails and include multiple climbs and descents along the park's terrain.

The longer course covers scenic gravel and trail sections, includes significant climbs up and down the Niagara escarpment, and passes atop Sven's and Eagle bluff before returning to Welcker's Point Shelter where food and beverages are available. The shorter course follows the same initial gravel segment, separates from the longer route near mile five, includes several climbs and longer descents relative to the park's topography, and also finishes at Welcker's Point Shelter with food and beverages provided.

Participants receive a race hoodie and completion medal, and post-race beverage options include beer from Sway Brewing and Blending or a nonalcoholic beverage. Both distances have a six-hour time limit, and the 30K includes a strictly enforced cutoff at the Eagle Panorama Aid Station (mile 14.2).
