Pen Park Trails Fest

Pen Park Trails Fest is a trail run and celebration held in Peninsula State Park on November 7, 2026. The event takes place around Welcker’s Point and the park trails and includes a 30K course option with a course cutoff at mile 14.2.

Registered runners receive a Pen Park Trails Fest race hoodie (sizes are limited; register by October 8 to guarantee a preferred size) and a completion award. Participants will have course support and on course nutrition. Post race beverages include beer provided by Sway Brewing and Blending as well as nonalcoholic and gluten free options.

Online registration is open from May 15 through November 5. In-person packet pickup and late registration are available at Old Fish Creek Town Hall and at Welcker’s Point on the days immediately before and the morning of the event. Parking for participants and spectators is organized at Welcker’s Point Campground; vehicles parked within Peninsula State Park must display park passes and signage will direct attendees to the lot.

Snack items will be provided to runners after the race. Weather permitting, brats and hot dogs will be available for purchase and there will be time around campfires at Welcker’s Point. Pets are not allowed at the Welcker’s Point picnic area or while racing per park rules. The event will contribute to Friends of Peninsula State Park to support trail development and maintenance.
