Pen Park Trails Fest

Pen Park Trails Fest is a trail running event and celebration held in Peninsula State Park, Wisconsin. The event uses Welcker’s Point as the start and finish area, with packet pickup available at Old Fish Creek Town Hall the day before and at Welcker’s Point on race morning.

Online registration is open from May 1 through November 5, with on-site registration and packet pickup available the day before and the morning of the event. Register by October 8 to guarantee a preferred race hoodie size; hoodie sizes are limited.

Registered runners receive a race hoodie, a completion award, post-race beer from Sway Brewing and Blending or a nonalcoholic beverage, and course support with on-course nutrition. Post-race snacks will be provided; weather permitting, brats and hot dogs will be available for purchase and campfires are planned at Welcker’s Point.

All vehicles parked within Peninsula State Park must display park passes. Parking for participants and spectators is directed to Welcker’s Point Campground, a short walk from the start and finish. Pets are not allowed at the Welcker’s Point picnic area or while racing, per park rules.

Pen Park Trails Fest contributes to the Friends of Peninsula State Park to support trail development and maintenance. Presenting and supporting organizations include Peninsula Pulse, Sway Brewing and Blending, Door County Medical, and additional local sponsors.
