Pen Park Trails Fest

Pen Park Trails Fest is a trail run and celebration held in Peninsula State Park, Wisconsin. The event combines an organized running event with post-race amenities and on-site festivities near Welcker’s Point.

Registered participants receive a Pen Park Trails Fest race hoodie (sizes are limited), a completion award, post-race beer from Sway Brewing and Blending or a nonalcoholic option, and course support with nutrition. Runners should register by October 8 to guarantee preferred hoodie size.

Online registration is open from May 1 through November 5, with in-person packet pickup available on November 6 at Old Fish Creek Town Hall (4176 Maple St, Fish Creek, WI 54212) and on race day at Welcker’s Point at the start/finish area. Parking is organized at Welcker’s Point Campground; the lot is a short walk to the start/finish. All vehicles parked within Peninsula State Park must display park passes.

After the run, Sway Brewing and Blending will provide the beer selection; nonalcoholic and gluten-free beverages are available. Snack items are provided for runners, and food such as grilled brats and hot dogs may be available for purchase weather permitting. Campfire areas at Welcker’s Point are part of the post-race setting. Pets are not allowed in the Welcker’s Point picnic area or on course during the event.

A portion of proceeds will support the Friends of Peninsula State Park for trail development and maintenance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
