Packet pickup is available Friday evening at the Ornery Mule Trailhead, 824 S. Main Street #102, from 5 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday morning at Veteran Acres from 6:30 am to 7:30 am. Parking is in the main parking lot at 431 Walkup Rd, Crystal Lake, IL 60012. The start line is located within the park and typically requires about a 30 minute walk from the parking area; flags and course volunteers guide participants to the start.
