SOS - Pymble Ladies' College (Saturday Orienteering Series)

This orienteering event takes place on Saturday, 15 November 2025 at Pymble Ladies' College, Avon Road, Pymble NSW. The meeting point is Gloucester Lawn, accessed via the pedestrian gate from the train station. There is no parking for orienteers on site and surrounding streets may be busy. The venue includes manicured gardens, heritage buildings, and winding pathways. The event also serves as the Bold Horizons Sprint Championships and will include social relays.

Courses, format and entry

Individual and group course options are offered, and SPORTident electronic timing is used; competitors without a SPORTident card may hire one for the event. Course types listed include:

  • Primary School Sprint Championships - up to 2 km
  • Secondary School Sprint Championships - about 2–4 km
  • Bold Horizons Open Sprint Championships - 2–4 km
  • Score Course (non-championship) - pick your own route

Social relays are provided with four short relay courses for teams of two or four; relay courses have a maximum leg length of 800 m. Entry fees apply, with different fees for adults and school students and a member discount of 15% noted; timing card hire is listed as $4.
