Silver Falls Trail Challenge
The Silver Falls Trail Challenge is a trail event held at Silver Falls State Park in Sublimity, Oregon on February 28, 2026. The event uses the Trail of Ten Falls and related park trails for its courses. A park parking fee of $10 per car applies.
Distances offered:
- 1/4 Marathon One clockwise loop of the Trail of Ten Falls.
- 1/2 Marathon Essentially a double loop on the Trail of Ten Falls linking the Canyon Trail and the Rim Trail.
- 12 Mile Ruck Challenge Follows the half marathon route with a different second-loop routing onto the Winter Trail, reducing the distance by over one mile.
Course information notes that the Orchards Shelter appears as the start and finish on course maps and that routes follow marked park trails such as the Canyon Trail, Rim Trail, Maple Ridge Trail, and Winter Trail. Aid stations and trail signage are indicated on course maps.
Packet pick-up is scheduled Friday, February 27 at the Orchards Shelter from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with additional pick-up available on race day beginning at 7:00 AM. Listed entry fees for each distance are provided by the organizer, including higher day-of prices payable by cash, check, or Venmo. The organizer’s refund policy allows entries to be moved to another event of equal value within 12 months if requested before the week of the race; no refunds are offered.
