Sheriff's Meadow Foundation Trail Run

Sheriff's Meadow Foundation hosts its Third Annual Trail Run on Martha's Vineyard, Edgartown, at the Caroline Tuthill Preserve. The course features a 3.2-mile loop through a diverse landscape of oak and pitch pine forest, salt marsh, and open meadow, starting from a field along Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road. Runners pass circuitous dirt and sand paths, by salt marshes to Sengekontacket Pond, and return over a 160-foot raised boardwalk. The event emphasizes a community, low-impact trail experience with no registration fee; donations support conservation of the island’s rural character.
