SheRACES Trail Series - Hathersage, Peak District

SheRACES Trail Series : Surrey Hills 2026

The SheRACES Trail Series is a women only trail running event organised by SheRACES and intended to raise funds to support the organisation's mission to increase female participation in racing. The series ran an event in 2025 in the Peak District in partnership with another organiser and the 2026 event will be held in the Surrey Hills with easy access from London and the south of England. At present the series has capacity for one venue, with plans to return to the Peak District and other locations in future.

Races are women only at the participant level while families and friends of any gender are welcome at the start and finish venue. The event includes a significant outreach programme to support participation of underrepresented females. There are industry leading IVF and pregnancy deferral policies and an industry leading safeguarding policy. Facilities at the venue include changing spaces and women only toilets at the venue and support points, with free sanitary products. Breastfeeding or expressing is facilitated at support points. There are no on course cut-off times and participants who wish to be anonymous on entry lists can arrange that; live tracking and results can be provided on request. Female fit or unisex participant t shirts are available to pre order before the event.
