Serpent Trail Ultra Run

Haslemere, United Kingdom • 29 Nov 2026

Event details

The Serpent Trail Ultra Run takes place on Sunday 29 November 2026, meeting in Haslemere, Surrey. The run covers 30 miles and the entry cost is £45 per person. There is parking available near the meet point, and the start is a short run or taxi ride from the local train station.

Route and format

The route starts and finishes in Haslemere and uses sections of the Serpent Trail and the Sussex Border Path. The course passes Blackdown and the Temple of the Winds lookout with views of the South Downs, then continues across fields, ancient woodland, rare heathland and valleys. The route may be hilly and includes a short refreshment break.

This is a group run rather than a race. An experienced ultra runner will lead and manage the route, and participants can ask questions during the event. Organisers advise participants to have run at least 22 miles in training and to be able to sustain an average pace of about 10 min/mile (6 min/km) for prolonged periods on trail. A full kit list will be provided before the event. A nonalcoholic beer from a partner brewery may be available at the finish, subject to availability.
