Scrimshire's Scramble is a community-led trail run returning for a second year, held at North Leverton Windmill in North Leverton with Habblesthorpe, Retford, Nottinghamshire (DN22 0BA). The course is off-road and uses local country lanes, byways and public footpaths. Terrain is mixed - soft and muddy underfoot in places with some firmer lanes. The route starts and finishes at the windmill and offers views over South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Lincolnshire. All finishers receive a bag of bread flour milled at the windmill, a sustainably designed medal and a jar of local honey.

Date: 01 March 2026. Distance: 10K (noted as nearer 10.5 km in the event text). The event is described as not-for-profit and organised by volunteers to raise funds and visitors for the 212 year old corn-mill. Maximum entrants are 170; entries close on 22/02/2026 and transfers are permitted up to 22/02/2026. There are 49 entries remaining at the time of the event information. Minimum age is 16 years.
