Scilly60 Sept 2026 : 60 km multi island trail race

Scilly60 is a 60 km trail run across the five inhabited islands of the Isles of Scilly. The course is run in six stages and uses boat transfers to move competitors between islands. The route follows every metre of coast path on St Mary’s, St Martin’s, Tresco, Bryher, and St Agnes, finishing back on St Mary’s.

The event is self sufficient. There are no energy stations en route and participants must start with 3 litres of water in their boat bag. A race first aider is based at each island start and finish. Toilets are available on every quay and the race starts and finishes on island quays.

Cut off times are enforced based on a running pace of 7 minutes 30 seconds per kilometre; runners who miss a cut off will be taken to the next island by boat and cannot continue running that day. Entry is limited to 150 places, with 75 places available on each boat. Registration closes on 5 September 2026.

Terrain includes continuous undulation, rocky sections, sand and technical coastal paths; a normal trail running shoe is suggested unless prolonged wet conditions require different footwear.
