Scilly60% - The Marathon

Hugh Town, United Kingdom • 4 Sep 2026

Scilly60% The Marathon

Scilly60% is a 42 km multi island trail marathon that crosses four of the off islands before finishing on St Marys. Runners complete full circumnavigations of St Martin’s, Tresco, Bryher and St Agnes, then a final run on St Marys. The route follows coastal paths and is professionally marked. Ferry transitions are organised with tidal considerations and the event provides support throughout the day.

The race is self sufficient. There are no energy stations en route and every competitor must start with three litres of water in their boat bag. Runners are expected to carry their own food, drink and spare clothing for each stage; volunteers will refill named bottles left in boat bags. Toilets are available on each quay.

Cut off times are based on a pace of 8:30 min per km. The event is limited to 150 participants. Suggested equipment and boat bag items are listed in the event information and include a waterproof boat bag, running hydration, spare clothing, basic first aid and a powerbank. Course distances and stage profiles may be updated closer to the event and GPX files for the stages are available for download prior to race day.
