Reason To Treason - Northampton

Saturn Too is running the Reason To Treason event at Northampton Active, Bedford Rd, Northampton NN4 7AA. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.

The format is a 7 hour Time Challenge that allows entrants to choose their own distance. The minimum official finishing distance is 3 km and a full lap is stated as 7 km (4.37 miles), though the route may be shortened after a health and safety review. The course runs around the Northampton Washlands on well maintained paths and trail. Turn points at 3 km and 5 km are included to allow younger runners to comply with UK Athletics age rules.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are awarded for half-marathon and above and are attached to the medal ribbon. All finishers receive a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is available. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start/finish of each lap with a selection of snacks and vegan options.

Venue facilities include toilets but no separate changing rooms or showers. Parking at the venue is limited and nearby charged parking may be available. A non-secure bag drop will be available. A family-friendly fun run in Coventry featuring giant inflatable obstacles on a 2.5k lap, with distances of 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 15k, music zones, a finisher medal and on-course water.

An obstacle 5k at Priory Park, Bedford on 25 July 2026 featuring climbs, crawls and muddy obstacles. Organised by Cancer Research UK, it uses staggered wave starts, has basic on site facilities and is not suitable for wheelchair users.
