Remembrance Run 2026 - South

The Remembrance Run is scheduled for 8 November 2026 at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham, TW20 0AE, in Surrey. The event commemorates those who died in past conflicts. A two-minute silence will be observed during the event and two minutes will be removed from official times. Membership offers a £10 lower entry price, guaranteed entry and a mini-me medal pin.

Course, awards and facilities

The course runs along the River Thames and is fully signed. About 60% is on a well-made path or tarmac; the remainder is grass and light trail which can get muddy. Road shoes are suitable year-round; trail shoes may help on the off-path sections. A full lap is listed as 4.37 miles (7 km) but may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. The event includes 3 km and 5 km turn points. A half marathon equals three laps, a marathon six laps and an ultra seven or more laps; a 50 km option is available.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are given for half-marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50 km and ultra distances. Aid and drinks tables are supplied at the start/finish of each lap. Toilets and changing are available; an unstaffed bag drop is provided. Car parking is pay on exit at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Number pick up is on race day at registration; final instructions are sent by email. Headphones are allowed and runners should be considerate of other path users.
