Remembrance Run 2026 - South
The Remembrance Run is an event held in Surrey along a stretch of the River Thames at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham. The event includes a two minute silence; those two minutes will be removed from the official time.
This is a seven hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose how many laps to run. A full lap is 4.37 miles or 7 km though the course may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. The route is fully signed and mixes approximately 60% well made path or tarmac with grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are suitable year round; trail shoes can be used for extra grip.
Medals are awarded to all finishers who complete at least 3 km, with additional distance pins for half marathon and longer finishes. Finishers receive a goody bag and a vegan goody bag option is available. Aid and drinks tables are located at the start and finish of each lap with a selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items.
Facilities at the race HQ include toilets and changing. A bag drop is provided but it is unstaffed and items are left at the participant's responsibility. Car parking is available at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds pay on exit. Headphones are allowed and runners should be considerate of other path users.
