Remembrance Run 2026 - South

The Remembrance Day Run is held in Surrey along a stretch of the River Thames at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham TW20 0AE. The event observes a two minute silence and those two minutes are removed from official times.

This is a seven hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose their distance. A full lap is 7 km (about 4.37 miles) but the course may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. The route is fully signed and is approximately 60% on well made path or tarmac with the remainder on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are suitable year round; trail shoes may help on wet sections.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are awarded for half marathon, mega half, marathon, 50 km and ultra achievements and one pin is attached to the medal ribbon. Finishers also receive a goody bag with a vegan option available.

Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start and finish of each lap with a mix of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities are available. Bag drop is unstaffed and items are left at the participant's own risk. There is a pay on exit car park at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Headphones are allowed and runners should be considerate of other path users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
