The Remembrance Run 2026 - South is held in Surrey on the River Thames at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham, TW20 0AE. The event includes a two minute silence to commemorate those who died in conflicts; two minutes are removed from official finish times. The event is a 7-hour time challenge that lets participants choose how many laps to complete, subject to UK Athletics age restrictions. The lowest entry price is £10 lower for members; members are guaranteed entry and receive a mini-me medal pin at events they attend. Number pick up is on the day at race registration.

Course, distances and facilities

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. About 60% of the route is on well-made path or tarmac, with the remainder on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are suitable year-round; trail shoes can be used for extra grip. Aid and drinks tables are available at the start/finish of each lap with a selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal; distance pins are given for longer achievements. Facilities include toilets, changing areas and an unattended bag drop at race HQ. Car parking is available at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds (pay on exit). Headphones are allowed.
