Remembrance Day Run - South

The event is a 7-hour Time Challenge held in Surrey at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham, TW20 0AE. It is presented as a remembrance run with a two minute silence during the event; those two minutes are removed from official times. The event medal is sold out and entries after 24 October receive a pick-and-mix medal. Remembrance pins remain available for an additional £3 donation. A reduced entry price of £23.00 is available only to members; membership guarantees entry and provides a mini-me medal pin at each event.

Course, distances and facilities

The course runs along the River Thames and is fully signed. Approximately 60% of the loop is on path or tarmac, with the rest on grass and light trail that can get muddy. Road shoes are acceptable year round; trail shoes may be preferred for extra grip. Aid and drinks tables are available at the start/finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Finishers receive a goody bag and a selection of vegan goody bags is offered. Toilets, changing facilities and an unsecured bag drop are provided; the organiser accepts no liability for left items. Parking is available at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds (pay on exit).
