Event overview
The event takes place on Friday, 05 June 2026 as a 7 hour timed challenge. Participants may run any distance they choose within the time limit. The minimum distance to be an official finisher is 3 km. The normal lap length is 4.37 miles / 7 km, though this may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. Turn points at 3 km and 5 km are provided within the lap for younger runners.

Maximum entries are 300. Entries close on 04/06/2026. Minimum age is 12 years. Anyone planning to run over 45 km must be at least 20 years old; 18- and 19-year-olds may run up to 45 km. Transfer and deferral fees apply: transfers cost £2.50 until the day before the event; deferrals to another event cost £18.
Course and facilities
The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surfaces are mainly made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section; road shoes are suitable. The regular course layout may be adjusted after health and safety review and land owner approval.
Facilities at the race HQ include toilets, changing facilities and a cafe. There is a pay-on-exit car park at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds near the start. An unmanned bag area is available at the start/finish. Aid and drinks tables are provided each lap with a range of sweet, savoury, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal and a goody bag; distance pins are awarded for half-marathon and longer distances. Headphones are allowed.
