This is a 7-hour timed running event held at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club, Egham, TW20 0AE. Entrants may run any distance they choose within the 7-hour limit; the minimum recorded distance for a finisher is 3 km. The event is limited to 300 entrants. Entries close 04/06/2026. Minimum age to enter is 12 years. Anyone wishing to run over 45 km must be 20 years or older; 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km only. Transfers are available online for £2.50 up to the day before the event. A deferral to another event is available for £18 if arranged before this event. Entry fees listed are Affiliated £25.00 and Unattached £27.00.

Course and facilities

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surfaces are mainly well-made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section; road shoes are suitable year round. A full lap is stated as 4.37 miles or 7 km, though the loop may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions and approvals.

There is an aid and drinks table at the start/finish of each lap with a selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ, which also has a cafe. Bag drop is unmanned and items are left at the participant’s own risk. Headphones are allowed. Medals are awarded to all finishers who complete 3 km, and goody bags (including a vegan option) are provided. Distance pins are issued for half-marathon and longer distances. Trail runs nearby

Take to flat, scenic trails through Alexandra Gardens beside Windsor Castle with chip timing and friendly post race goodies. Choose 10K or half marathon, enjoy well marked routes, free photos and an event village for food and drinks.

Trail running on 31 January 2026 at Hound House Road in Surrey with 10 km and 15 km routes over hilly mixed terrain. Parking, toilets and refreshments are available; entries close 29 January 2026.

Guided 10 km trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl in Hindhead, with summer sunset runs and headtorch group night runs in darker months. Social pace, great views and the chance to try trail gear.

The Pilgrim Challenge will take place in Farnham from Saturday 7 February 2026 to Sunday 8 February 2026. You can run 66 miles.
