Devil's Punchbowl 10 km - guided trail run

This is a guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl natural amphitheatre in Hindhead, Surrey. The route covers 10 km of marked trails with varied terrain and several hills. The group will pause at a high point to take in the views.

Sessions are scheduled in 2026 on Tuesday 3 February, Wednesday 1 July, and Tuesday 24 November. Runs during the lighter months are organised as sunset runs, while those in darker months are night runs using head torches and a group format for added safety.

The event meets at the Devil's Punchbowl Car Park in Hindhead. The listed cost is £16 per person and parking is available. This is not a race; the run is led as a group and participants should be able to sustain an average trail pace of about 6 min per kilometre for prolonged periods and have a suitable level of fitness.

A full kit list is provided before the run. Head torches from Silva and Salomon trail shoes may be available to trial. An alcohol free beer from Athletic Brewing Company may be offered at the end of some runs subject to availability. Organisers will send further information and instructions to participants before each event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
