Event Details

The Sasquatch Trail Run takes place in May at the Dry Creek Preserve in Woodlake, California. The event is held on private property.

Course and Distances

The course is a trail run through the scenic Dry Creek Preserve. It covers a distance of 3.16 miles (approximately 5 km) with 257 feet of elevation gain and features two river crossings. Trail shoes are recommended.

Participant Perks

All adult finishers receive a Sasquatch finisher t-shirt, a custom medal, free race photos, bananas, muffins, and music. The event is chip-timed with live results. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each category.

Participants in the Kids Race receive a Sasquatch t-shirt, a kids finisher medal, free race photos, and snacks.

Charitable Support

Trail runs nearby

Tanri Lake Race in Miramonte, CA features relay teams, a 10-hour individual challenge and a 10K on looped courses near 6,000 ft. Entries include a Tanri hat and Saturday dinner; individual runners can earn Western States raffle tickets.

Experience the Sierra foothills at the Springville Apple Run featuring trail routes and dirt roads. Choose between 10K and 5K runs or a 2 mile walk as part of the local Apple Festival.

Join the 23rd annual 5k run and walk on the Santa Fe Trail in Tulare. Support local high school scholarships while competing for age group medals and overall trophies at Live Oak Park.

The Kaweah Lake Bottom Trail Run offers a 5K and 10K race along the scenic lake bed trail. All proceeds support St. Anthony Retreat. Registration is limited and opens in May 2026.
