Event Details

The Samson's Revenge event takes place in Estes Park, Colorado, starting and finishing at the YMCA of the Rockies. All distances start at the same time in front of the Administration building at 2515 Tunnel Road. Parking is available in paved lots. An email with additional information will be sent to participants before the event.

The event offers three distances:

  • 55k
  • 27k
  • 10k

Course Information

The race course consists of loops run on the grounds of the YMCA of the Rockies. The basic loop is approximately 10k with about 1,200 feet of elevation gain, most of which is concentrated in the Bible Point ascent. For the longer 55k and 27k distances, loops 2 through 6 are a bit shorter and are run on flowing single-track trail, packed dirt, and a short section of gravel.

Included Amenities

All participants receive a $29 day pass to the YMCA of the Rockies grounds with their registration.

Aid Stations

There are two aid stations on the course: one at the start/finish line and one at the top of Bible Point. Both will provide water, electrolyte drink, and a variety of snacks and food.

Runner Perks
