Salisbury Plain Winter

Collingbourne Ducis, United Kingdom • 6 Dec 2025

Event overview

The Salisbury Plain Winter Edition is an off-road running event on Salisbury Plain, held at Old Fowler Barracks, Ludgershall, SP11 9RR. The route uses well established footpaths and byways and includes undulating terrain with steep hills and compact tracks. The course is fully marked and will be signed by the event team the day before the race. Organisers provide aid stations stocked with a mixture of sweet and savory snacks, water, juice and coke. Marshals are posted at major road crossings and a medical and safety team are present on route. Reviews and event notes indicate that winter weather can be severe at times and that trail shoes are recommended.
