Salak Eco Trail Run (SETR) is a trail-running event set in the tropical rainforest of Mount Halimun-Salak, centered at Bumi Perkemahan Sukamantri. Organized by the Javan Hawk Eagle Trail with Yayasan Puter Indonesia, SETR promotes conservation under the motto “Ego to Eco” and aims to protect the habitat of the endangered Javan Hawk Eagle. Participants choose among 6K, 12K, and 21K routes through forested terrain with elevation, water stations, and rainforest checkpoints, with GPX/KML course maps available. The event emphasizes environmental ethics, mandatory gear, BIB timing, and race-pack collection, blending sport with nature restoration.
