Run4Bibles : Cedar Ridge Preserve, Dallas

Run4Bibles is a series of afternoon trail races held at Cedar Ridge Preserve in Dallas, Texas. The event offers multiple distances and virtual options. Courses use a variety of underfoot surfaces including mulch, solid rock, gravel, dirt, steps of dirt or rock, and wooden bridges over small creeks. The preserve contains small streams, a large pond, a lookout tower, and a birdwatching hut. Terrain is described as moderately strenuous and may be walked or run.

• 1/2 Marathon
• 10K
• 5K
• 1 Mile

Chip timing is provided for the 5K, 10K, 1/2 Marathon, and Marathon; the 1 Mile Hike-n-Run is not chip-timed. Awards include hand carved wooden medals from DR Congo, and age and overall categories are used for 5K and 10K awards. Entry fees listed for on-site races are $100 for the Marathon, $80 for the 1/2 Marathon, $50 for the 10K, $40 for the 5K, and $25 for the 1 Mile; virtual marathon and virtual 1/2 marathon options use the same listed fees. Registration fees support Equip Disciples remote and missional Bible study groups in Rwanda and DR Congo and funds for maintaining Cedar Ridge Nature Preserve.
