The Rockledge Rumble is a trail run at Rockledge Park in Grapevine, TX, on the North Shore Trail along Lake Grapevine in the Dallas/Fort Worth area just north of the DFW airport. The event offers the following distances:

  • 50K
  • 30K
  • 15K

The trail surface varies from soft dirt paths near the start to more technical, rocky sections further out. The course follows the lake shoreline for part of the route and finishes along the bank before a steep wooden staircase leads runners away from the water.

Logistics and policies

A park entrance fee is required when entering Rockledge Park; there are two lines for cash and credit card. Organizers recommend having $10 in exact change to speed entry. Volunteers earn race credits for future Blaze Trails events, and a family member who volunteers may transfer credits to a runner.

Cancellation and credit policy: cancel more than 30 days before the race to receive 100% race credit for another Blaze Trails event; cancel between 30 days and two weeks before the race to receive 50% race credit. No refunds or transfers are allowed less than two weeks before race day. To cancel a registration, log into Ultrasignup and edit the registration; race credit must be used within one year, with possible extensions for medical reasons or military deployments if arranged in advance.
