Run With The Deer Flies 25K, 15K & 8K
The Run With The Deer Flies is a trail running event with three distance options: 25K, 15K, and 8K. The 8K distance was added as a popular option for newer trail runners and those seeking a shorter route.
The event takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Camp Seph Mack near Penn Run, Pennsylvania. The course features a mix of terrain including single-track trails, pipeline roads, swamps, hills, and creek crossings. Aid stations are placed approximately every four miles, though carrying personal water is strongly recommended.
Post-race pizza is provided. All finishers receive a medal. There are also random drawings for restaurant gift cards. The event provides race shirts to participants who register by July 14, 2026; after that date, shirts are available only while supplies last.
Each distance is capped at 100 participants. The event benefits Indiana County Parks & Trails and Citizens' Ambulance Service. There is no rain date, and no refunds or deferrals are offered if the race is conducted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
