Run the Vineyards - Penns Woods 5K

The 15th annual Run the Vineyards event takes place at Penns Woods Winery in Chadds Ford. The event features a combination of physical activity and vineyard atmosphere on a professionally managed estate. The course consists of well-manicured grass paths through the vineyard and includes a section within the Pennsylvania portion of the 1st State Historical National Park.

Participants can take part in the following activities:

• 5K chip-timed race through the winery property and national park trails.
• Yoga Session lasting 15 minutes held on-site prior to the start of the race.

The race is open to runners and walkers, provided they complete the course within a one-hour time limit. The event includes professional photography with free digital downloads for participants. Registration includes a technical fabric shirt and a stemless wine glass. Following the race, an after-party features live music and food trucks on the winery grounds.

The race course starts and finishes on the winery property. Participants over the age of 21 receive a glass of wine after the event, with non-alcoholic options available. While dogs and spectators are welcome on the winery property, animals and jogging strollers are not permitted on the race course for safety reasons.
