The Run the Vineyards - Bohemia Manor Farm 5K & 8K takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Bohemia Manor Farm Winery, 237 Bohemia Manor Farm Drive, Chesapeake City, MD 21915. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk through the vineyard, along the Bohemia River, and on a wooded trail.
- 8K Trail Run with more technical wooded trails, plus vineyard and waterfront views.
Races are chip timed with live-streamed instant results. Awards are given to the top three overall and to male and female age-group winners (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years). Water stops and course marshals are provided. Finish-line refreshments include water, bananas, and wine.
Registration, swag and on-site details
All participants receive a custom tech tee and a stemless 15 oz. souvenir wine glass. A women’s racerback tank upgrade is available for an extra fee. Finisher medals are available for an additional charge during registration or on race day. A complimentary glass of wine is provided at the finish for participants aged 21 and over. Free downloadable race and after-party photos will be available.
An after-party is held on the Bohemia River waterfront with a tiki bar, live musician performing until noon, food truck service, and wine available for purchase. The race is held rain or shine, with no refunds or deferrals. Packet pick-up is available on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent at the winery.
