Run the Vineyards - Bohemia Manor Farm 5K & 8K
This event is a chip timed trail run at Bohemia Manor Farm Winery in Chesapeake City, Maryland. It offers two race distances:
- 5K course through vineyard, along Bohemia River and wooded trail
- 8K course with more technical wooded trails plus vineyard and waterfront views
Both courses pass vineyard sections and riverfront areas. The 8K includes more technical wooded trails. Live-streamed instant results are provided. Water stops and course marshals are on course; finish line provisions include water, bananas and wine.
Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to age group winners for male and female divisions: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, and then every ten years. All finishers receive a stemless wine glass bearing the event logo. Tech shirt options are available in multiple styles and sizes, and souvenir finisher medals may be purchased. Finishers age 21 and over are eligible for a complimentary glass of wine. Free downloadable event and after-party photos are available.
Walkers must be registered and start behind runners; a one hour time limit is requested for walkers. The event takes place rain or shine and does not allow refunds or deferrals.
