Run the Vineyards - Bohemia Manor Farm 5K & 8K

This event on August 1, 2026 takes place at Bohemia Manor Farm Winery in Chesapeake City, Maryland. It offers timed running events on courses that pass through vineyard rows, along the Bohemia River, and on wooded trails. The 8K course is described as more technical with additional trail sections while still including vineyard and waterfront views.

Racing is chip timed with live-streamed instant results. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to age group winners for male and female categories including 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, and every 10 years thereafter. The course includes water stops and course marshals; finish line refreshments include water, bananas and wine.

Swag and amenities include a high quality tech shirt in men’s unisex, women’s, or youth sizes with an optional upgrade to a women’s racerback tank, a stemless wine glass for all participants, and souvenir finisher medals available for purchase. A complimentary glass of wine is provided at the finish to participants age 21 and over. Free downloadable photos will be available from a professional photographer.

An after party on the Bohemia River waterfront features a tiki bar, live musician, food truck options and wine for purchase. The event is held rain or shine; registration is required for participation. Volunteers receive perks and future race entry opportunities.
