Run Saysutshun

Run Saysutshun is a unique trail running event held on Newcastle Island (Saysutshun) in Nanaimo, BC, Canada. The event features a scenic loop course of just under 10 kilometers that traces the island's perimeter, offering stunning views of the ocean on one side and forest on the other. Over a 24-hour period, runners can participate in various race formats including 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour, half marathon, and 10k distances, as well as a new 24-hour relay for teams of four.

Participants can camp on the island, enhancing the community atmosphere with campfires and camaraderie. An aid station provides a variety of food and drinks, while runners are cautioned about raccoons that may steal unsecured food.
