The Run for the River and Polar Plunge takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Camp Kiwanis in Danielsville, GA. At the highest elevation the course offers views of the Broad River and the river valley. Walkers are welcome and a shorter walking loop is provided for those who prefer not to complete the full 5K. The optional group polar plunge takes place in the Broad River, with proceeds supporting the Broad River Watershed Association’s water quality monitoring program.

Logistics and extras

Race day includes race day registration and packet pickup, an awards ceremony, and an early group plunge option. T-shirts are available to runners who register on or before January 6, 2025; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Awards are planned for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and multiple 10-year age groups.
