Course, awards, and rules

Cedarock Park has about 12 miles of single-track and equestrian trails. Each course begins with 0.6 miles of wide road, gravel, and paved trail before entering forested single-track and wider equestrian trails. The trails have root and rock sections and several short hill climbs. Elevation gain is listed as 217 feet for the one-loop 5K, 508 feet for the one-loop 10K, and 999 feet for the two-loop Half Marathon. Aid stations are placed approximately every 1-2 miles. Medical support, volunteers, and course markings are provided.

All finishers receive a medal. Top five overall male and female competitors in each distance receive awards and prizes; age-group awards are given for 1st-3rd places by standard age categories. Minimum unaccompanied ages are specified for each distance and younger runners may compete only when accompanied by a registered parent or guardian unless approved by the race director.
