Ruff Run California is an annual obstacle event for people and their dogs held in Phelan, California at 4389 Cygnet Rd. The course occupies roughly 20 acres at about 4200 feet above sea level and features more than 20 obstacles.

The 61st Mt Baldy Run to the Top on September 7, 2026 is a fundraising mountain trail race in the Angeles National Forest covering about 7 miles with 4,000 feet of ascent to the 10,064 foot summit, with proceeds aiding local services.

A historic point to point 100 mile ultramarathon through the San Gabriel Mountains from Wrightwood to Altadena with about 21,610 feet of climb. Entry for 2026 was by lottery with qualifier and trail work requirements.
