Rosaryville Veterans Day Trail Race
The Annapolis Striders present the 17th annual Rosaryville Veterans Day Trail Race at Rosaryville State Park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, scheduled for November 14, 2026. The event offers these distances:
- 50K - 3.25 loops of the 9.5 mile perimeter trail
- 20K - 1.25 loops of the 9.5 mile perimeter trail
Both courses start and finish at the Pavilion picnic area and run mainly on buffed single track through deep woods and meadows. The 50K accumulates about 2600 feet of elevation gain across rolling hills. The route is well marked with white pie plates and confidence ribbons and includes two aid stations.
The race is limited to 250 participants and enforces time limits of 8 hours for the 50K and 7 hours for the 20K. A drop bag area is near the start and is accessible at roughly the 5k, 20k, and 35k points; the area is uncovered. Pacers on foot are permitted on the final loop. Headphones, pets, and baby joggers are not allowed for safety and insurance reasons. Parking is included with registration.
Awards recognize top three male and female finishers and the top male and female military finisher for each distance. Post-race activities include hot food, fire pits, music, and yard games with a menu that features smoked BBQ chicken sliders, vegetarian chili, and burgers.
