Run 4 MK : 2026 Miriam’s Kitchen 5k & 10k
Run 4 MK is the fifth annual Miriam’s Kitchen race held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Fletcher’s Boathouse in Washington, DC. The event raises funds and awareness for Miriam’s Kitchen and its work to end chronic and veteran homelessness in Washington, DC. Points from the race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Fall Series.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Race benefits and features include a finisher’s medal, a technical Dri-fit event shirt, and chip timing. Live results are posted on Athlinks and via a QR code at the event, with final results and series points published the Monday after the race.
Course and logistics:
- 10k out-and-back route on the same course.
- 5k out-and-back on the C&O Canal path, light gravel, flat, no major elevation gains.
- 500M Dash short distance for youth or family participants.
- Water stations: three on the 10k, one on the 5k; some stations offer Gatorade.
- Packet pickup is available at the event. There will be no on-site race registration.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to age-group finishers across standard categories. The event includes a virtual race option for remote participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
