The course is built from two 10K loops arranged as a figure 8. The north loop is run clockwise and the south loop counter-clockwise; loops are repeated to match the selected distance. Trail surfaces are primarily single track and include rocks, roots, and stream crossings. These features may be covered by leaves, snow, or mud, and at least one water crossing is possible depending on conditions. Participants must remain on marked trails.
Support and logistics include multiple aid stations on the loops stocked with water, Gatorade, and other items, a designated drop bag tent at the 10K loop start and finish, and parking in lots surrounding the start and finish area. Packet pickup is held before each event at Fleet Feet Sports (1270 E Powell Rd, 43035) and also at the race site on event day.
Series registration includes a limited Trail Running Package for series registrants only, event shirts or buffs by date, finisher medals for all, and a special belt buckle for double 50K finishers. The event maintains a no refund and no bib transfer policy. Registration fees vary by date of registration for both the series and individual events.
