Riggs CAT Rock N Run 5K

Riggs CAT Rock N Run 5K takes place on June 27, 2026 at Martin Marietta Hatton Quarry in Cove, Arkansas. The event includes a professionally chip timed 5K and a separate untimed family run. The course runs along the top side of a working limestone quarry; the quarry will not be operational on race day.

Registration pricing is tiered: early bird pricing is $30 per person for the stated early period, regular registration is $40 per person for the regular period, and day of registration is $50 per person. Spectator registration is listed at $20 and children under five are free. Registered participants receive a soft cotton/poly blend race t shirt and a custom race bib for chipped participants; finisher medals are provided to timed race finishers. A provided stone for rock painting is included.

Prizes are awarded for top finishers in male and female divisions with amounts listed for first, second, and third place. The 5K will use disposable bib tag chip timing with live results provided by Garner Racing. Runners must follow course signage and official instructions. No bicycles or pets are allowed due to restricted spacing.

Early packet pickup is available at THE OUACHITAS coffee bar and tap room at 821 Mena St., Mena, AR. Post race activities include rock painting, face painting, a raffle, a jar of stone counting competition, vendor booths, overlook photos on heavy machinery, and an off site after party at THE OUACHITAS.
