Rogue River is a trail running event held at Bowl and Pitcher in Riverside State Park, Spokane, Washington. The event offers multiple distance options and uses dirt and road trail surfaces. The organizers describe the event as a test of holistic strength and resilience; it was previously called River Ridge Ultra.
Distances:
- 30 mile One loop starting from Bowl and Pitcher around Riverside State Park
- 9 mile run Out and back from Bowl and Pitcher to Seven Mile Aid Station
- 9 mile ruck Out and back from Bowl and Pitcher to Seven Mile Aid Station
The course has a 10 hour time limit and a target pace guideline of about 20 minutes per mile. Runners must check in at the Military Cemetery Trailhead by 5 PM to allow completion before park closure. Course markings consist of fluorescent flagging markers spaced as confidence markers.
Aid and support details note six stocked aid stations, with Tailwind Endurance Fuel provided at all aid stations. Crews and family support are allowed at aid stations; runners and supporting family or crews must have a Discover Pass. Aid stations offer food and drink but runners are encouraged to be self sufficient.
Additional event information: packet pickup occurs the day before and the morning of the race, a pre-race briefing is scheduled, required gear includes running gear, food, water, and electrolytes, littering is prohibited, parking is in designated spaces, a waiver is required, and there are no refunds at this time.
