The event starts at the Blue Lakes Country Club and traverses several local landmarks, including the Perrine Bridge and a water pipeline bridge that crosses the Snake River.

Course Details

Participants encounter a series of climbs and descents throughout the route. After starting at the canyon floor, the path leads up to the Perrine Bridge, passes the Visitors Center, and then drops back down into the canyon. The course concludes with a final hill that returns participants to the private club area. The event offers several participation options:

  • 7.5 Miles RIM2RIM Walk: A walking-only category where running is prohibited.
  • 3.5 Miles 1/2 RIM Race: A shorter, downhill course beginning at the Magic Valley Mall.
  • 7.5 Miles Virtual Race: A remote participation option for the full distance.

Participation Requirements

Due to safety regulations on the bridge and specific restrictions at the Blue Lakes Country Club, pets and strollers are not permitted on the course or at the lake. For the 3.5 mile race, participants receive a medal upon completion. The event concludes at the private club with a provided lunch and prize distribution for attendees.
