Course Description
The Outlaw Trail Ultra Half Marathon is a point-to-point race. The route begins high up at the Diamondfield Jack Campground and runs north, finishing at the Third Fork Campground. The course is described as mostly downhill.
The first 3 miles are on Deadline Ridge Road, a rough jeep and ATV trail. The final 10+ miles follow a single-track trail.
Location
The event takes place in the Sawtooth National Forest Rock Creek Recreation Area. The start line is at the Diamondfield Jack Campground near Hansen, Idaho, and is also close to Magic Mountain Ski Area. The location is approximately 45 minutes southeast of Twin Falls.
