Rhino Run is organized by CIRCUIT RUNNING EVENTS LIMITED and is scheduled for 03/01/2026 at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham TW20 0AA. The event raises awareness for the Save the Rhino cause, and a portion of proceeds will go to that cause. The course is an out-and-back route along the River Thames.
Distances and formats:
- 3.28 miles out-and-back along the River Thames.
- 5 km option with an earlier turn point.
- 10 km equals two laps of the 5 km route.
- 6-hour challenge allowing runs from 5 km up to ultra distances; a final lap may be started up to 5:59:59 after the start.
Facilities and rules
Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a five-piece goody bag. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the rowing club. There is no official bag drop; bags may be left unmanned at the start/finish at the participant’s own risk. Parking is available at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds and is paid. An aid table is provided at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks, and a variety of food for self-service. The event is held on a public footpath and participants are asked to be considerate of other path users. The run is licensed by the TRA and operated under UKA Athletics rules.
