Event Details
The 9th Annual Red Wing Trail Challenge is a trail running event. It is presented by Conquer The World Endurance. The event will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026. It takes place at Red Wing Recreation Area in Lagrangeville, New York.
Distances and Course
The event offers three distances: 60K, 30K, and 15K. All distances are run on the same 15-kilometer trail loop. The loop is described as having about 1,625 feet (approximately 495 meters) of elevation gain.
- 60K: Runners complete the 15-kilometer loop four times for a total gain of about 6,500 feet.
- 30K: This is a newly added distance for this year.
- 15K: Runners complete one loop.
The trail surface is a mix of grass, gravel, single track, double track, dirt, and rocks. The course is described as "pretty runnable."
On-Course Support
An aid station will be located on the course, with its specific mile location to be announced. Another refueling area will be located by the start/finish line. This start/finish area also has a section for 60K runners to set up a personal base with their belongings, accessible on each lap. Aid stations will provide water, Skratch hydration, UCAN, and basic snacks like pretzels, bagels, and bananas.
Post-Race and Awards
After the race, food and drinks will be available. Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners in each distance. All finishers in the 60K and 15K races will receive a unique finisher award. Participants who register by June 18th are guaranteed a race shirt.
