The Red Wing Trail Challenge, held at Red Wing Recreation Area in Lagrangeville, NY, offers two trail race distances: a challenging 60K with approximately 6,600 feet of elevation gain, and a 15K featuring about 1,650 feet of gain. The 60K consists of four laps of a 15K loop that includes varied terrain such as grass, gravel, single and double track, dirt, and rocks, making for a runnable yet demanding course.
