The Red Top Rumble is the 19th annual trail race held at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia, on February 1, 2026. The event features a single trail distance of 11.5 Miles with start and finish at the park Visitor's Center. The course uses winding, moderate-to-easy wooded trails with several bridge crossings and views of Lake Allatoona. A course cutoff is noted at the Homestead aid station (7.7 mile) - TBD.

The event is organized as a non-profit. A portion of proceeds supports Red Top Mountain State Park and the Friends of Red Top Mountain organization and their Mountain Discovery Room programs.

Logistics and race rules

Facilities at the start/finish area include parking and porta-johns. Due to limited parking, carpooling is encouraged; there is a $5 state park parking fee for those without an annual park pass. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the Visitor's Center and on race morning at the Visitor's Center start/finish area. There is no race day registration. The event policy states no refunds, no transfers, and no deferrals. Awards are given to the top five male and female finishers plus overall Master and Grandmaster categories, with no duplication of awards.
