Red Top Rumble is an annual trail race held at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, GA. The race distance is 11.5 Miles with the start and finish at the park Visitor's Center. The course follows winding, moderate to easy wooded trails, includes several bridge crossings, and offers views of Lake Allatoona. The event is organized as a non-profit and a portion of proceeds supports Red Top Mountain State Park and the Friends of Red Top Mountain.

Logistics and facilities

The race takes place at Red Top Mountain State Park, located off I-75 exit 285, about 45 minutes north of Atlanta. Registration opens on November 11, 2025; there is no race day registration and entrants are advised to register by January 12 to guarantee shirt size. GUTS members receive a $5 discount. Refunds, transfers, and deferrals are not allowed. There is a course cutoff at the Homestead aid station (7.7 mile). Facilities at the start/finish include parking, bathrooms, and porta-johns. If entrants do not have a state park pass, a $5 parking fee applies; fee envelopes will be available at packet pickup and drop boxes. Packet pickup is scheduled for the weekend before the race, including Saturday at the Visitor's Center and on race morning at the start/finish area. Awards are given to the top five male and female finishers plus overall Master and Grandmaster categories, with no duplication of awards.
