Recover From The Holidays 50K

Huntsville, United States • 31 Dec 2025

Event overview

The Recover From the Holidays 50K is scheduled for December 31, 2025 in Huntsville, Alabama (2151 Airport Rd SW). The event is a year-end ultramarathon and is listed as the final calendar event for the local track club. Registration has a closing date of December 27, 2025.

Course and logistics

The course begins with an initial 1-mile out-and-back followed by 10 repeats of a 3.0-mile loop over rolling cross-country grass trails. Each loop includes two significant hill climbs. There is a strict 9-hour cutoff; runners who do not complete the required laps within that time will not be counted in official results. Aid is limited and will include water, soda, chips, and cookies. Runners have access to a personal aid station at the start of each 3-mile loop and may bring chairs or small tables. A short packet pickup is scheduled for December 30, with additional packet pickup available at the race site before the event. Finishers who complete the 10 laps within the cutoff receive a Santa-sanctioned hoodie; overall male and female winners receive a prize selected by the event organizers.
