About the race
Recover From The Holidays 50K is a 50 kilometer race held on December 31, 2026 in Huntsville, Alabama, organized by the Huntsville Track Club at 2151 Airport Rd SW. Registration closes December 28. The course consists of ten repeats of a roughly 3.1 mile loop on rolling cross country grass trails. Each loop includes two significant hill climbs and uses an established race hill from an earlier version of this event. Aid is limited and will include water, soda, chips, and cookies.
Runners may set up a personal aid station at the start of each new loop, approximately every 3.1 miles, and may bring chairs or small tables for that purpose. There is a strict time cutoff for official results. Participants who complete all ten laps within the event cutoff receive a Santa sanctioned hoodie. The overall male and female finishers receive a prize chosen by the event Santa. Packet pickup is available at the race venue on race day.
