- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The race is capped at 400 runners. All entrants for these distances receive a short sleeve tri-blend t-shirt and a finisher award; the t-shirt is the same design used for the entire series. Several aid stations are placed on course offering water, Gatorade, coke, GU, pretzels, M&M's, granola bars and similar items.
This is a cupless race: participants must carry a handheld bottle, pack, or reusable cup. A RunningLane reusable cup is available for purchase at checkout for $5. Marco's Pizza is listed as a series sponsor and will provide pizza at the finish line for participants.
Packet pickup is available at the RunningLane store located at 2407 Memorial Parkway SW Suite 1, Huntsville, AL, with an additional pickup option on race morning. Age groups apply across all races. Organizers state very loose course cutoffs and note a 17 minute per mile cutoff for Long Series participants. There are no refunds, deferrals, credits, or entry transfers, and shirts or medals are not mailed after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
