Courses and format

The 5 Mile course is an out-and-back route beside a creek with about 500 feet of elevation gain, many curves, and some technical or rocky sections, ending at a view above the river. The 25K follows the first 5 miles, bypasses the finish chute, then continues on a 10-mile loop with single and double track, significant elevation change, rocky sections, and an aid station around the 12th mile. A map notes total elevation gain for the full route is around 1,400 feet. All finishers receive a medal; top three male and female finishers in each race receive custom trophies, and first-place male and female in each age group receive custom awards.

Logistics

Parking is limited; participants may park only in the paved lot by the large picnic shelter or the adjacent dirt lot. Race morning check-in is at the big picnic shelter. Shirts are locally printed and available by a December 17 order deadline. Photos will be taken on the trail by Last Light Productions.
