Event details

The Agapé 100k + 50k is scheduled for the weekend of May 15-17, 2026, with the main race day on May 16, 2026. The event takes place at Camp Agapé in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Registration opens June 15, 2025 and closes May 9, 2026. Spots are limited. There are no full refunds, no bib transfers, and no deferments. Car and tent camping is included with each runner's registration; parking and camping space are limited. Fires, alcohol, and illegal substances are prohibited. Campers must depart by Sunday morning and observe quiet hours overnight.

Course and race support

The course uses repeated loops of roughly six miles on a mix of singletrack and gravel trails with technical sections and notable hills. Distances offered:

  • 50k - 5 loops, ~6,000 ft elevation gain
  • 100k - 10 loops, ~12,000 ft elevation gain

There are two aid stations on course: Start/Finish and Ironwood Summit (about 3 miles). Aid stations will offer water, electrolytes, and food. The event aims to be largely cupless; runners should plan to carry their own hydration. Only 100k runners may use a registered pacer for the final 50k; pacers must register and pick up a bib and follow race rules. The event has a 24-hour overall time limit; runners must be on their final lap by the morning of May 17, 2026. Swag includes a 2026 tech shirt and stickers; all finishers receive a medal and top three male and female finishers in each distance receive awards.
