Event overview
The Agapé 100k and 50k take place at Camp Agapé in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina on May 15-17, 2026. Registration opens on June 15, 2025 and closes on May 9, 2026, with limited spots for each distance. The race uses a private facility that is not open to the public. Camping is included with runner registration; parking and camping space are limited and participants are asked to carpool and camp together when possible. Fires, alcohol, and illegal substances are prohibited, and participants are asked to keep noise to a minimum overnight.
Race format and logistics
- 50k : 5 loops, about 6,000 ft elevation gain
- 100k : 10 loops, about 12,000 ft elevation gain
The course consists of roughly 6-mile loops on a mix of singletrack and gravel trails with technical sections and notable hills. Two aid stations will be open throughout the event: Start/Finish and Ironwood Summit (about 3 miles). The event uses a 24-hour cut-off for both distances. Only 100k runners may use a pacer for the final 50k; all pacers must register, sign a waiver, check in to pick up a bib, and follow race rules. Event registration includes a 2026 tech shirt and stickers; all finishers receive a medal and the top three male and female finishers in each distance receive awards.
