Event Overview

The Raptor Run 5K is a trail-based event hosted by the Darke County Park District in Greenville, Ohio. Participants can choose to run or walk the course, which is located within the Shawnee Prairie Preserve.

The route takes participants through varied natural environments, including prairies, woodland areas, and wetlands. Along the course, participants pass several landmarks within the preserve, such as the Sugar Shack, the Log House, and the Blacksmith Shop. The event utilizes electronic chip timing for all participants. The 5K race is organized into several age divisions for both male and female participants:

Medals are awarded to the top male and female finisher in each of these divisions. Registered participants receive post-race refreshments and have the opportunity to win door prizes.
