Ranch to Ranch on February 28, 2026 is a trail running event held in Japatul Valley near Alpine, California. The event is based at 22010 Lyons Valley Rd, Alpine, CA 91901, and uses private trails between two working ranches, including a route that goes to Windfall Ranch and returns to the start.

A team category is included. A team consists of three runners, each running a different distance: one on the 5K, one on the 10K, and one on the 15K. When registering, participants can indicate a team name and the names of teammates; each person registers individually but the team section links teammates for awards.

Most of the course is single track trail and includes some technical sections where attention to footing is needed. Aid stations are placed along the course and will provide fluids and snacks with volunteer support. Long sleeve tech shirts are included with each entry and are distributed at bib pickup. Completion items and cookie medals are handed out at the finish. Epic Recess and Ranch to Ranch patches will be available for purchase at check in. Pets and strollers are not allowed.
