Ragnar Trail Ohio is a team trail relay held at Dillon State Park near Zanesville on May 29 to 30, 2026. The event covers a total of 122 miles, with an average of 15.8 miles per runner and approximately 578 feet of elevation gain across the course. Trails run through dense, mostly shaded forest and include flat, grass-lined birding trails as well as technical single-track routes that follow slopes down to the Dillon Reservoir. The park features a lake, limestone cliffs, and a white sand beach.
Teams can enter in different formats: Standard teams of 8 runners for two days and one night, Ultra teams of 4 runners for two days and one night, and Sprint teams of 3 runners for one day. Published entry prices vary by team type.
Participants stay at Ragnar Village on site, where camping and sleeping options include glamping, rent-a-tent, beachfront sites, cabins, RV sites, and tent sites.
