Ragnar Trail Individual Colorado

Ragnar Trail Individual Colorado takes place June 5-6, 2026 at the Snowmass Recreation Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado. The 2026 event is the final year at Snowmass; the Trail Colorado race will move to a new location in the Rockies in 2027.

Participants can choose between individual race formats and loop-based timed events. Available options include:

• Single Loop: 6.6 miles, Red Loop, 1,121 ft elevation gain
• 6 hour Ultra: timed event with unlimited loops, course miles listed as 15
• 24 hour Ultra: timed event with unlimited loops, course miles listed as 15

The Single Loop follows the Red Loop and includes a climb along a 9,000 foot ridge, with forested sections and areas of wildflowers. The published course figures list a total course elevation gain of 2,209 feet and total course miles of 15 for the loop set used by relay teams. In the timed ultras, participants run as many loops as they complete within their allotted time.

Ragnar Village at Snowmass Village serves as the event hub for the weekend and includes camping nights on Thursday and Friday. Onsite amenities and activities include pool and showers for a small fee, food trucks, a gear store, bonfire and s'mores, movie night, yard games, music, yoga, finisher medal and shirt, and glamping sites.
