Reading 10k at Prospect Park

The event takes place on Sunday 07 Jun 2026 at Prospect Park, Liebenrood Road, Reading. It is open to participants aged 16 and over. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Entry prices shown are £17.49 for participants aged 16 and over and £11.00 for children.

The start and finish are on grass in the central park field near the tennis courts, cafe and ranger station. The course is predominantly on grass, includes woodland sections and several steep slopes. The 10k is a two-lap route of the 5k course. Events are chip-timed.

Travel notes list limited event parking on the main park drive, an alternative pay and display car park at Meadway Shopping Centre with a 10-15 minute walk, and Blue Badge parking near the Ranger Station. Cycle racks are available near the artificial pitches. There are no electric vehicle charging points at the venue.

Facilities available include refreshments, toilets and parking. Dogs are not allowed. Bag drop and showers are not available. The route is not suitable for wheelchair or pushchair users due to steep inclines and varied terrain with over 80 percent on grass.
